John Cena, the host of Payback, made a major announcement during the event. He added himself to the LA Knight vs. The Miz bout by declaring himself the special guest referee. Moreover, the Cenation Leader brought out The Megastar after the A-Lister complained. After the match, Knight wasn’t reluctant to trash-talk Cena into his face.

The Pittsburgh crowd was molten hot for Knight. First, the duo went back and forth, with each wrestler looking for their respective finishers early in their fight. Afterward, it spilled outside as The Megastar sent The Miz flying over the barricade. One of the biggest moments took place after the guest referee and LA came face-to-face.

Subsequently, this led to the Grand Slam Champion gaining the upper hand. However, it didn’t take long for his opponent to fight back. LA Knight performed a spinning neckbreaker in between the bout. Interestingly, he was about to punch Cena, which allowed Miz to hit the Skull-Crushing Finale.

WWE is less than a week away from visiting India for the first time in years. The Superstar Spectacle will take place on September 8, Friday. So far, the company has announced only two matches officially. One of them was a first-ever match for John Cena in the country.

The Franchise Player will team up with Seth Rollins to take on Imperium’s Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci. Also, this will mark his first match since WrestleMania 39 earlier this year. Recently, Kaiser claimed that it would be an honor to share the ring with the 16-time World Champion.

It promises to be an entertaining bout for the live audience, given the talent of all four men. Moreover, Cena is set for a continuous eight-week appearance on weekly television and is rumored to appear at the upcoming Fastlane premium live event as well.
