John Cena is quite active on social media with his cryptic and intriguing posts. Fans always eagerly wait for his social media posts. Recently, John Cena shared a video of him and Randy Orton sparring in OVW on Thanksgiving. Now, The Leader of Cenation went down memory lane again as he posted a sparring video with another one of his great rivals and friends, Dave Bautista. 

In the video clip, fans can see a fight between Cena and Batista when they were just starting their careers in 2002. Cena shared the clip with the caption, saying he has created many memories with ‘Batista’, but he will always remember facing Leviathan in OVW, which was Batista’s ring name at the time.

Cena and Batista share a long history as rivals. They both started their careers at Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), along with other legends like Randy Orton and Brock Lesnar. Since then, those two have won countless championships, Royal Rumbles, been in the main-event of multiple WrestleManias and were the faces of their respective brands.

As of now, neither of the superstars is currently active in WWE, as they have shifted their focus to the Hollywood film industry instead of wrestling. But it will be interesting to see whether their paths will cross again one way or another or not.

John Cena and CM Punk have had their fair share of world-class matches and rivalries. Punk returned to WWE after nine long years and the fans are still talking about it. But not only fans, but even other wrestlers are also welcoming Punk back into the company. One of those superstars is none other than John Cena.

John Cena always posts trending pictures on his Instagram. CM Punk’s return to WWE was one of the most trending topics in recent days. That’s why Cena posted a picture of Punk during his return to the Survivor Series. Fans got so excited seeing this post and wished the two superstars would meet again in the ring.

The last time Punk and Cena were in the same ring was in 2013, on Raw, and the stakes were high as the winner of that match would go on and face the Rock for the WWE Championship in the main event at WrestleMania 29. Cena would go on to win the match and eventually win the title. Since then, Punk and Cena have never crossed paths inside or outside the ring.

Now that Punk has returned and Cena can make surprise WWE appearances due to the Hollywood drama, it will be interesting to see for the fans whether they will witness the face-off between them or if it will just be a dream for them.
