Johnny Gargano is slowly gaining back some momentum on Monday nights. After a period of physical ineffectiveness, he’s once again ready to motor. That being said, he has a great chance to prove himself very soon. At the Elimination Chamber, he’ll be locked inside that barbaric structure against 5 other competitors. It’s going to be the first Elimination Chamber match for the Ironman of NXT.
At the event, Austin Theory will defend his United States Championship against Seth Rollins, Johnny Gargano, Bronson Reed, Montez Ford and Damian Priest. That lineup is stacked with reservoirs of talent from top to bottom. Amidst of such a tight-neck scenario, Johnny Wrestling needs to repeat his Takeover performances on the main-roster as well.
Also, Gargano has always been a record-breaker in Canada. Considering, he delivered his official Raw debut speech in Toronto, the former WWE NXT Champion loves wrestling there. He dreamt of becoming the US Champ, and almost 6 months later, the opportunity is knocking at his door. Touching on the same points, Johnny Gargano shared a tweet which recounts how poetic of a journey this has been.

Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae are slowly settling on WWE Raw
Johnny Wrestling was the core of NXT’s Black & Gold era. That being said, his wife Candice too played a great role in evolving herself as a superstar under Triple H’s supervision. As by a well-known fact, Hunter has always been a fan of their work. Fans already figured it out long ago that the couple is made for numerous accolades.
Their journey on the main-roster has just started. It’s going to take a few more months to get the nerves settled. Johnny is currently paired alongside Dexter Lumis where at times, Candice can be seen joining the boys for a chat. That whole dynamic is just simple and effective. As a matter of fact, 2023 will be a massive year for Garganos. They need to shine with the same intensity as they did back in NXT.
