Being underrated in pro-wrestling is not a crime. It just shows that maybe everyone isn’t valuing that particular act enough at the time being. That being said, Karrion Kross recently revealed his own pick for the most underrated name in WWE. Before getting into that, it would be worth mentioning something about Kross. As known, he returned to WWE back in August last year. Even after showing some initial promise, the Harbinger of Doom hasn’t been able to operate at his best.

The exact reason behind his bumpy run so far can be his inability to connect with audience. As a dominant heel, the former NXT Champion has lacked in gathering that heat. Even his pairing with Scarlett Bordeaux hasn’t helped. Things might ease down a bit in future for sure, however, everything is not working well for The Doomsday. Amidst of his dormant run on SmackDown, Karrion Kross has named Ricochet for being the most underrated superstar right now in WWE.

During a recent interview with Josh Martinez, Kross praised Ricochet for his ability to extract organic reactions from the live audience. According to the Doomsday, the Human Highlight Reel doesn’t gets affected in a bad way even after getting placed in adverse conditions. Karrion Kross further continued saying no matter how cold the match is and if there’s a good story in it or not, Ricochet always check all the boxes.

“I hope people don’t take this the wrong way, but I think Ricochet is most underrated. The reason is because that is a guy you can put in the ring completely, like on a cold match with no story, and he will be able to get reactions out of any audience that he is working in front of,” said Kross.

WWE held a Fatal-4-way match between Karrion Kross, Rey Mysterio, Santos Escobar and Madcap Moss to determine Gunther’s next challenger. Surprisingly enough, Moss capitalized upon the golden opportunity and punched his ticket to face The Ring General for that Intercontinental Championship, this week on SmackDown in Montreal.

Even after losing, Kross had a great showing. He received enough offense for the most part and that pretty much reflects how the management hasn’t completely given up on the Las Vegas native. Evidently so, Kross comes in the upper deck of favorite talents of Triple H. He’s been given ample chances to get going. But, things like these happens very often.

Maybe the creative was trying too much with Kross that it didn’t even work out for anyone. Giving a nice little break on that adamancy might help in the long run. Sometimes, a talent need some assistance from the crowd to get back on track. Once Kross starts getting those natural responses from people sitting in the arenas, WWE may pull the trigger on their number 2 heel on the blue brand once again.
