UPDATE : Karrion Kross is listed as NUMBER 2 heel after Roman Reigns on the Smackdown roster

Karrion Kross and Roman Reigns

Everyone got their eyes wide open when Karrion Kross made his shocking WWE return this past Friday night on WWE Smackdown alongside Scarlett Bordeaux. The Doomsday didn’t wasted any motion as he went straight attack Drew McIntyre from behind who was standing there on the ramp itself thus marking her comeback in a dominating fashion.

Kross’ WWE return after getting released months ago from his contract is a definite narrative of Triple H handling the things more seriously than ever and this is just a part of his all out strategy to strengthen the main rosters of Raw and Smackdown. The rumours are suggesting that Kross would be involved in what was until seemed like a singles program between Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre.

The main purpose behind adding the former NXT Champion into the mix is to protect Reigns from possibly eating up a pinfall at a future event. After receiving managerial pressure from the USA Network citing their anger for not having a fall-time World Champion on their show, the company has finally decided to split the WWE as well as the Universal Titles back once again and separate their brands too.

So the most likely scenario which could happen at WWE’s upcoming premium live event Clash at the Castle in UK could see a Triple-threat between Roman Reigns, Drew McIntyre and Karrion Kross for the WWE Championship and the Universal Championship won’t be on the line simultaneously. Roman can then easily lose that belt without even getting involved in the match.

The blue brand have been lacking with supreme starpower they lost to Monday Night Raw during last year’s Draft. The Friday nights have become much unbearable than the show which WWE airs on Monday nights and many fans are demanding a change to the existing pattern of creative as they have failed to maintain Smackdown on the same level it was before the Draft.

Looks like Hunter is adamant on that change and wants to reconstruct the Blue-brand into a better looking show once again. PWInsider is reporting that the returning Karrion Kross has been internally listed as a number 2 heel, effectively after Roman Reigns which itself indicates that the management do really have some major plans in place for Kross.
