The Best in the World, CM Punk, returned to WWE at the Survivor Series this year. His return was a huge turn of events in WWE, which surely shook things up. Many professional wrestling personalities share their views on the subject matter. One such name is Kevin Owens, who recently gave a different shade of opinion regarding the return of the Second City Saint than that of Randy Orton.

In an interview with James H. Williams, Kevin Owens presented his views on the return of the Best in the World. He stated that he desires to have fun during his work. Therefore, if CM Punk promotes the same mindset, it is right for him.

Moreover, the Prizefighter shared a divergence of opinion for Viper Randy Orton. He said that the locker room needed a person like the Apex Predator. In addition to that, he heavily praised Orton, even calling him a legend. Besides, Owens shared his belief that Randy is a true leader for the superstars in the locker room.

It seems Kevin Owens has been incoherent about CM Punk’s return. However, he has shared an honest opinion regarding Randy Orton’s comeback. Both the Second City Saint and the Viper were featured on Raw this week. Although some superstars don’t like it, WWE has certainly witnessed a surge in ratings on the show. It is going to be interesting to see the future of WWE after the huge signing of CM Punk.

Why Kevin Owens and CM Punk have a real-life beef?

Kevin Owens has been open about his dislike for CM Punk. The two stars have worked together in the Ring of Honor. A while ago, producer Joe Feeney explained the story of Owens and Punk, which drove them to have real-life beef with each other.

Speaking with Keepin’ It 100 with Konan, Joe revealed that Punk and Kevin had a backstage altercation in Ring of Honor. He stated that the two had an argument regarding Punk suggesting Owens wear singlets during the match-up.

He [Punk]  was the head trainer and all that. He had a lot of sway and stroke. Owens was trying to get in. - He [Punk] kind of wanted him [Owens] to wrestle in a singlet, and the word got back to Kevin. So he wrestled a match in a singlet. - the match wasn’t good according to Owens, and then he came back to the locker room and he said jokingly to Punk, ‘Are you happy now?’ or something, and Punk got in his face, but that’s really it.

Moreover, it was revealed that Punk was suggesting singlets to Owens due to his shape. Moreover, the Prizefighter wasn’t happy about the singlets, which further led to the two having real-life beef with each other ever since. It is going to be interesting to see if the two stars will ever have a confrontation in WWE in the future.
