If you’re also one among many who are perplexed due to the current absence of Kevin Owens, we’ll try to understand the cause just now. We haven’t seen The Prizefighter on Monday Night Raw probably since September 26. He teamed up with Johnny Gargano and faced The Alpha Academy in his home country of Canada. The babyfaces picked up the win after an action filled tag-team match.
However, we haven’t seen Owens ever since that and while many believe he should be there on television every week, it’s not like WWE intentionally has pulled him away. According to Louis Dangoor of Give Me Sport, the promotion had some really exciting plans lined up for Kevin Owens. He was set to enter the ongoing Bloodline storyline in some capacity.
The creative direction for Kevin was to eventually form a tag-team with Sami Zayn, had The Bloodline turned their backs over the latter. However, seeing the widespread popularity of Sami Zayn among that group, the plans got changed. Fans have been literally putting their hearts out for their Honorary Uce and whatever stuff he produces on a weekly basis.

Kevin Owens’ best friend Sami Zayn produced magic last week on SmackDown
This past week on SmackDown, we probably witnessed probably the best in-ring segment WWE has produced in recent memory. We saw, Roman Reigns trying to assert his authority and get things sorted between Jey Uso and Sami Zayn. The most shocking part came when Jey quoted that he doesn’t gives a damn about what the Tribal Chief said.
Zayn then made each person in that arena crack up big time when he said that Jey didn’t meant that by any means. Further, Sami proclaimed that Uso uttered that line for Reigns just because he was caught up in the moment and not feeling very “Ucey”. The entire Bloodline was forced to break their characters on live television as they couldn’t help but giggle over how Sami Zayn perfectly played his part.
It doesn’t seems like the company will be breaking up this scintillating alliance anytime soon. This is the best thing going in all of wrestling right now. With that being said, we doesn’t know what the future holds for Kevin Owens. Although, this year have been a great one for him, he also main-evented night 1 of Wrestlemania against “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.
