“He’s gonna be a much bigger name in WWE two years from now” – Wrestling legend makes a bold claim about Kevin Owens’ WWE future

Kevin Owens is a definite future megastar

Kevin Owens is one of the most athletic and charismatic performers among the entire WWE roster today. Being a French-Canadian, it would not be wrong to say that he’s continuing the old school wrestling tradition as to this date which was initiated by WWE Hall of Famers including Bret Hart, Owen Hart, Chris Jericho, Edge, Roddy Piper, Trish Stratus among others.

Owens signed with WWE’s developmental territory NXT back in 2014 before debuting on the main-roster as the NXT Champion in 2015 where he stunned John Cena by defeating him in his in-ring debut. Many fans still consider this to be one of the best NXT-callups in WWE history. After this, Owens went on further and quickly climbed ladders of success winning the Universal Championship once, the United States title 3 times and also the Intercontinental Championship twice in his so-far decorated career.

Former WCW executive and wrestling legend Eric Bischoff recently showered his appraisal for Kevin Owens by making a chilling prediction regarding his future and said that nobody would’ve imagined the amount of superstar in Owens as he has reached today. Bischoff further said that WWE have done a great job by elevating Kevin’s career to this point and claimed that he will become a much bigger star in WWE than he’s currently.

They [WWE and Owens] together have done an amazing job of elevating Kevin Owens to a point where he’s gonna be a much bigger name in WWE two years from now than he is now. And he’s already a big name,” said Bischoff.

Eric Bischoff got a chance to work closely with Kevin Owens during his storyline with Shane McMahon back in 2019 when Bischoff was appointed as Smackdown’s Executive Director by WWE alongside Paul Heyman who was assigned the things for Raw.

Kevin Owens and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin at Wrestlemania 38

One of the biggest attractions heading into this year’s Wrestlemania was ‘The Kevin Owens Show‘ with special guest “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. Basically the story for Owens called his inability to carve out his own path for Mania and that brought him to call out Texas’ own Stone Cold for doing a KO show with him at the Showcase of the Immortals.

Owens bashed the state of Texas to a level during previous episodes of WWE Raw that it caused Austin to immediately accept Kevin’s invitation to what was dubbed as the “biggest KO show” in history. The segment main-evented night 1 of Wrestlemania and once Steve came down to the ring and sat on the chair, things took a sudden flipping. Kevin challenged Austin to a formal match which he accepted to wrestle. This received thunderous crowd pop as it was going to be Austin’s 1st match since losing to The Rock at Wrestlemania 19.

After unexpectedly delivering a great wrestling match that went nearly 14 minutes, Austin defeated Owens after a Stunner. Although Kevin lost the match, this will definitely go down as one of the biggest moments of his entire WWE career.
