The Pittsburgh Steel City Street Fight began with absolute chaos as both teams were up to hurt each other. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn put Finn Balor’s head inside a trash can and racked up numerous Kendo Stick shots over it. Soon, Judgment Day too started to get back into the match. Balor & Priest tried to walk away after Judgement Day hit them with a spree of steel chair shots. However, Dominik Mysterio joined the fray to help his buddies.

Kevin Owens badly messed up his face following gnarly shots earlier in the match. The tag team champions even rocked their Pittsburgh Penguins gear at one point, quickly annulling Judgment Day’s effect. Later on, a bloodied Prizefighter threw caution to the wind as he put Dirty Dom through a table, courtesy of the Swanton Bomb.

JD McDonagh also caused a distraction in the match. KO powerbombed him through the announce table. However, the interference didn’t stop there. Owens couldn’t get a sigh of relief as Rhea Ripley speared him through the barricade. At that juncture, it was a massive 2-on-5 disadvantage for Owens and Zayn. However, The Prizefighter wrapping in blood was a testament to the brutality of the match. Watch the video here:

Sami Zayn was about to grab a victory after he hit a Helluva Kick on Finn Balor. However, out of nowhere, Dominik Mysterio cracked Zayn’s head with the Money in the Bank briefcase, allowing Balor to steal the win. The Judgment Day members captured the Undisputed Tag Team Championships at Payback.

What’s next for Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn?

The mesmerizing duo of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn suffered an unexpected loss that no one saw coming. Had they won, the former tag champs would’ve marched forward, leaving their animosity for Judgment Day in the rearview mirror. However, it doesn’t seem like the two teams settled the score.

Last night’s defeat looked quite an underwhelming way to take those tag titles off KO and Sami. That being said, Judgment Day is now draped in gold. They’re about to rule Monday nights, pretty much like they’ve been doing for months. The faction is currently at its apogee in WWE.

At this point, it wouldn’t be appropriate to say that everyone would be excited if WWE decided to prolong JD’s issues with Kevin and Sami. However, with choices running out at the moment, there needs to be a way for both sides to write off their tale with one another. Maybe they’ll dupe it out one final time on Raw this Monday.
