WWE provided an update on the possible injury suffered by Kevin Owens on SmackDown.

WWE Fans witnessed an action-packed SmackDown in Brooklyn. WWE fans were able to witness one of their favorite superstars, Kevin Owens in action. He wrestled Grayson Waller in a hard-hitting match. It seems Owens sustained an injury after it.
WWE updated the fans regarding it through social media. They informed the fans that Kevin Owens had sustained a fracture in the 4th and 5th metacarpal bones of his hand in SmackDown. Fans can check that post below.
This post follows the one where Owens walked with a medical official to the imaging room. He intended to get his hand X-ray, but it seems it didn’t yield a positive result. It shouldn’t be much surprising as Waller pummeled Owen’s hand badly during the match.
Fans are especially concerned about the former Universal Champion’s in-ring status as he has been announced for the tournament that will determine the next challenger for Logan Paul. For those who don’t know, WWE has already announced the first two matches of the tournament in the previous week.
Possible name that could replace Kevin Owens in the Tournament
Kevin Owens’ fans’ faces were drooped once they heard the news of him getting injured. It is quite plausible that the Prizefighter might vacate his position in the tournament announced. If that happens WWE superstar Butch might be the one to replace him.
Butch and Ridge Holland were carrying the stable, the Brawling Brutes in the absence of Sheamus. However, in the past two weeks, Ridge Holland began having doubts regarding being in the stable which made him abandon Butch. It may lead to Butch’s much-awaited singles run
For those who don’t know, Butch, formerly known as Pete Dunne, had a dominant run as NXT UK Champion. He even managed to secure a second position in the inaugural tournament for the US Title. Time will tell if he will be the replacing contestant for the Prizefighter.
