In 2015, The New Day was a heel faction and had their longest reign as Tag Team Champions at that time. At the Hell in a Cell PLE, they defended their tag titles against the returning Dudley Boyz. Judged by the in-ring work and experience of Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley, The New Day faced a significant threat to their reign. The match was a classic, but the Dudleys failed on their quest to win the titles.

At the time, Raw ring announcer Samantha Irvin tweeted about her dislike for The New Day and wished that The Dudley Boyz legitimately killed Big E and Kofi Kingston. She referred to them as “corny a** dudes.” Fast forward to 2024, and Kingston reacted to her old tweet and asked if her account was hacked. Although the tweet does not hold any significance today, the veteran’s reaction was hilarious.

However, Samantha cleared the air by posting an image with both Kofi and Xavier Woods of The New Day. The WWE Universe is always elated to see different personalities interact with each other on social media. For instance, Rhea Ripley once called her and backstage interviewer Cathy Kelley as her girlfriends and wanted to recruit them to The Judgment Day.

Kingston and Woods have recently been seen joining forces with Jey Uso. The trio came together to take on their common foe, Imperium. Since Big E got his neck injured by Ridge Holland in 2022, he is still on his road to recovery. Fans are eager for his recovery in hopes of getting the original faction together.

WWE’s flagship videogame, WWE 2K24 developed by 2K, is set to be released next week. Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, and Bianca Belair are the cover superstars. Recently, 2K announced that Brock Lesnar will indeed be in the game, but not as a playable character. Also, CM Punk has been added to the game, available through the Season Pass DLC.

Samantha Irvin recently reacted to a X post by throwing her ones up in acknowledgment of The Bloodline. Moreover, she was heard announcing the faction’s introduction in the game. It is interesting to see WWE superstars hype the video game before its release.

Irvin has been praised a lot for her work as an in-ring announcer. For instance, Paul Heyman shared how impressed he was with her work at Royal Rumble 2023. The Wise Man could be seen surprised when she announced Roman Reigns‘ introduction before his match against Kevin Owens. Considering the young age of Samantha, her already-spectacular career seems to have only begun in the WWE.
