In the history of professional wrestling, people have seen some stars who were just too big for just wrestling. Following their success in the squared circle, stars like Dwyane “The Rock” Johnson, Batista, and John Cena made it big in Hollywood as well. Mercedes Mone, popularly known as Sasha Banks, had also found success with The Mandalorian. Following their footsteps, current WWE wrestlers have also teased shifting their careers to acting. A SmackDown heel is also predicted to be the next big thing in Hollywood.
While many people are probably thinking of Roman Reigns, who is currently the biggest star in wrestling. Konnan, a popular wrestling personality and commentator, recently shared his thoughts on Karrion Kross during an episode of his podcast, “K100 w/ Konnan & Disco.” According to Konnan, Kross, who currently competes on WWE’s SmackDown brand, has the potential to become a Hollywood star like The Rock and John Cena.
Konnan praised Kross’ in-ring skills, charisma, and unique persona. He added that The Doom Walker has the talent and drive to make it big in the entertainment industry. Konnan also noted that Kross’ impressive performances on SmackDown have already caught the attention of many in the industry. And that a move to Hollywood could be the logical next step for the talented wrestler.
Fans are already excited about the prospect of Kross crossing over into the entertainment world and building on the success of WWE legends like The Rock and John Cena. Only time will tell if Konnan’s prediction comes true. One thing is for sure: Kross is a force to be reckoned with in the WWE. And his star power is only set to shine brighter in the future.

WWE Career of Karrion Kross
Karrion Kross made his WWE debut on their developmental brand NXT in 2020. Following his debut, he quickly established himself as a dominant force in the ring. Kross grabbed the attention of fans with his intense in-ring style and compelling character. In just a short time, Kross made his mark by winning the NXT Championship.
Following his NXT success, Karrion Kross made his promising main roster debut under Vince McMahon’s regime on Raw. Kross, on the other hand, was defeated in his first match against Jeff Hardy. From then on, things became worse after he was forced to adopt a reckless gimmick and attire. Kross’ main roster run turned out to be a failure, and he was released in 2021.
Last year, under the creative regime of Triple H this time, Kross made his WWE return with his wife Scarlett. The Doom Walker is currently having a decent run on SmackDown, as he was recently feuding with WWE legend, Rey Mysterio. Kross also had a decent rivalry with Drew McIntyre last year as well. Whether he will make it big in wrestling or transition to Hollywood, only time will tell.
