Kurt Angle had a lengthy and successful career in professional wrestling. During his time in WWE, he was a part of many pranks and jokes. These used to keep the wrestlers’ morale high as they were on the road most of the time. Angle recalls one such incident with a couple of WWE Hall of Famers.
After almost a two decade-career in professional wrestling, Kurt Angle retired from in-ring competition in 2019. He lost his final match to Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35. He has only made sporadic appearances in WWE ever since. Angle runs a podcast where he talks about pro wrestling with other figures from the industry.
While talking on the latest episode of “The Kurt Angle Show”, Angle remembered the time when Fabulous Moolah and Mae Young appeared on a show in their hometown in Oklahoma. Both women attacked Dawn Marie in the segment and stripped her clothes. They then attacked Angle and kissed him on the mouth.
The former champion did not mind the rib, as this used to be a common practice among the WWE wrestlers at the time. However, Rated-R Superstar Edge did not take this lightly. In the former week, when Mae Young and Fabulous Moolah pulled the prank on Edge, he was furious with everyone involved.
Angle recalled that these pranks were not appreciated by everyone. However, the intention was always to have fun. Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, Hardy Boyz, and The Dudleyz were among the wrestlers who pranked other wrestlers during their time in the company.
