People said that he’s just the flavor of the month. However, after capturing the awe of WWE fans, LA Knight became undeniable. Recently, at Crown Jewel, he went down against Roman Reigns despite a gallant effort. Although everyone knew the chances of Knight’s coronation were slim, the WWE Universe still sided with The Megastar. However, Roman’s Bloodline was there to ensure an anticlimactic conclusion in Riyadh.

Now, either this loss will make Knight or, worse, it may push him down the order. Having said that, The Megastar was in some sort of conundrum heading into his showdown with The Tribal Chief. While speaking to The Metro, LA Knight revealed that he always remains on tenterhooks in regards to his successor. He’s a red-hot commodity right now, but for how long? What if someone pips him tomorrow and the decade-long success story drains out?

It will be very interesting to see how the fans react to LA Knight. He bit the dust against Roman Reigns despite talking such a big game. The 41-year-old might have to go back to the drawing board and give it a reset. However, there’s something to cheer for The Megastar as WWE heads towards the Royal Rumble. The preliminary betting odds suggest that he’s the current favorite to win the men’s Rumble.

According to WrestleNomics, The Megastar is ranked 5th on the list of leading merchandise-selling superstars for 2023. Cody Rhodes is leading the fray by a definite margin. However, considering the dismal start to the year for Mr. Knight, it’s still something he can boast about any day.

WWE did not bank on the 41-year-old until The Megastar forced a groundswell in his popularity. Though it took some time, the Los Angeles-based wrestler got the nod from the management. It will be interesting to see what’s next for The Megastar following his loss at Crown Jewel.
