The Megastar could find himself in a familiar territory at WrestleMania.

In the fall of 2023, LA Knight rose to prominence in WWE. His infectious cadence and catchy one-liners propelled Knight from the small leagues to working with top names like John Cena. And now, with WrestleMania XL within touching distance, the fans are eagerly awaiting the planned creative direction for The Megastar in Philadelphia. Recently, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful shed some light on Knight’s once-discussed match at The Showcase of the Immortals.
That would’ve seen LA Knight lock horns with Logan Paul, presumably for the US title. This was talked about a while ago, and the Fightful reporter affirmed that he wasn’t sure if the plan was locked in. As known, the WrestleMania card has undergone an overhaul since CM Punk’s injury and Brock Lesnar‘s ouster. A few weeks ago, WrestleVotes also relayed that WWE was actively considering all options to assemble a strong card.
Two weeks ago, LA Knight seemingly precluded AJ Styles from qualifying for the men’s Elimination Chamber match. The Megastar’s ringside tantrums saw a laser-focused Styles lose fortitude, and he succumbed to Drew McIntyre. And it led some fans to believe that Styles and Knight would settle their differences at WrestleMania. However, The Phenomenal One hasn’t retaliated against his ex-TNA mate.
If Logan vs. Knight is indeed the plan for the big one in Philly, there’s enough stigma between the two men. They had numerous run-ins last year as part of the build-up to Money in the Bank. Recently, The Defiant One expressed his zeal to take on The Maverick given that he couldn’t challenge Roman Reigns at WrestleMania.
Can LA Knight make history at the Elimination Chamber?
This Saturday, LA Knight will step inside the sadistic Elimination Chamber structure for the first time. But with great risk comes great reward. The one who prevails in a stacked 6-man field in Perth will head to the City of Brotherly Love.
Not only that, he’ll get a crack at Seth Rollins‘ World Heavyweight Championship. But before that, Knight had to battle a menacing Drew McIntyre on SmackDown, which is slated to air next Friday. The taped show, headlined by McIntyre and Knight, ended in a disqualification.
All the chamber participants, including Logan Paul, Bobby Lashley, Kevin Owens, and Randy Orton, were in the ring at the same time. The closing shot saw The Viper drop McIntyre on his head with an RKO. Needless to say, the fans can expect some fireworks in Australia with these names gunning for glory.
