This past week, “Raw is XXX” turned out to be a better show than expected. Fans saw some great segments and matches on the show. One of the best segments was when LA Knight came out to the ring to address and call out the legends. He started off with a great promo in which he talked about his upcoming match against Bray Wyatt this Saturday at the Royal Rumble. He was not even done talking until The Undertaker’s music hit and the fans lost their minds. The Deadman came out in his legendary “American bad*ss” persona with a motorbike. It was quite a moment as the TNA legend left the ring for him and started trash talking.

He recapped the iconic moment in a podcast with Chris Van Vliet. LA Knight said, “Well, I’ll tell you what, he was about this close to get the slap right in the mouth, but I decided to spare him...Once that hit, it was chills, it was pretty wild. That audience was right on top of everything I had to say even with the Undertaker in the ring. So I mean, that’s a big feather in my cap as far as I’m concerned. And at the same time, you know, looking at a guy who’s undoubtedly a legend, Hall of Famer, crazy, crazy night leading into this Royal Rumble.”

In the podcast, LA Knight shared his lifetime experience of confronting The Undertaker for the first time in his life. The TNA legend also talked about his journey in the WWE and many other things. LA Knight also stated that while in the arena, the Deadman’s entrance music gave him chills. He also revealed that he was so close to slapping The Undertaker in the mouth, but he refused the idea. LA Knight lauded the return of American Badass, describing him as a legend and describing how iconic it was to be in the ring with him at the same time.

In his iconic segment with the legend, LA Knight also mentioned the Joe Rogan podcast, where Taker called the current wrestlers “soft.” After the confrontation, Bray Wyatt came out to confront his Royal Rumble opponent this Saturday. When LA Knight returned to the ring, The Undertaker caught him in a chokehold. Taker then passed him to Wyatt for a ‘Sister Abigail.’ It was a ‘passing the torch’ moment for Bray, as Taker whispered something in his ear before leaving.
