The hot favorite superstar in WWE, LA Knight, has broken WWE’s record over Twitter. Knight made his appearance on the pre-show of SmackDown due to the stacked two hours of the show. He showed up during Hit Row’s segment and beat them up to address his dominance over the talking game. The video clip of this segment was uploaded on Twitter and broke The Bloodline’s record by being the most viewed and liked post in 24 hours.
WWE’s Twitter handle is very active, with continuous posts and videos. Hence, the hot favorite storyline of Roman Reigns‘ The Bloodline receives massive viewership. But as reported by WrestleOps, the July 7 episode of SmackDown with Knight’s appearance has gained 21,000 likes and over 2 million views in the 24 hours since its upload, breaking every record from that episode of SmackDown.
The segment happened before the show went on-air and featured Hit Row requesting The Garden’s crowd to sing with Top Dolla. And that’s when LA came out to shut them off. The crowd went bonkers at Knight’s surprise entrance and cheered for him continuously. As Knight proceeded to handshake with Ashante Adonis, he pushed him instead and attacked him. Knight managed to fight off the Hit Row. And then he addressed the crowd about his appearance and stated that the crowd talk program was Knight’s A-Game.
The charismatic star lost his opportunity to grab the Money in the Bank briefcase by the smallest margin. Although he was the crowd favorite to win the ladder match, WWE favored Damian Priest for the sake of The Judgment Day’s storyline in the future. As Knight is presumed to have been robbed of his chance, the company could think of getting him involved in bigger plans, such as direct title opportunities, in the coming years.

LA Knight reacts to his involvement in the top-five rankings of merchandise sellers
The charismatic superstar LA Knight has made it to the fourth spot among merchandise sellers in WWE. He ranks fourth on the list after Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. The NWO faction is the one behind him and closes the top five rankings in the merchandise section.
As this good news was reported by the WrestleOps handle on Twitter, Knight reacted to his achievement with just one-word. The 40-year-old responded, “Defiant” and maintained his gimmick. The fan favorite rose to the fourth position in the month of June with the support of his massive fanbase.
WWE is considering giving Knight an opportunity for a title shot to compensate for his loss at Money in the Bank. Damian Priest’s victory instead of LA gave a clear indication that The Judgment Day will be seeing cracks in the near future. Hence, Knight’s loss will result in his gradual growth in his career.
