Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar in WWE

Brock Lesnar has been a dominant wrestler since his WWE debut and he has accomplished almost everything in the company. Lesnar was always a big asset for the company and put on some amazing performances in the history of WWE. Though not much of a speaker, Lesnar has always been phenomenal in the ring. The display of strength, pace and stamina is just beyond comparison. The Beast Incarnate has been the youngest WWE Champion in the history of WWE and had won it by defeating The Rock at SummerSlam 2002.

Brock Lesnar lost the first ever Last Man Standing match of his career at SummerSlam on July 30th. Lesnar was defeated by his long time rival Roman Reigns, who has won all the last man standing matches in his career. The Undisputed Championship will be on the line at the Clash at the Castle Live Event and Drew McIntyre will face the Tribal Chief at the event. It has been rumored that Karrion Kross would be brought to the rivalry between Drew and Roman as a result of his appearance on SmackDown this week, where he thrashed McIntyre and stared at Roman Reigns.

At WWE Day 1 Live Event, The Beast Incarnate defeated Bobby Lashley, Big E, Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens in a Fatal Five Way match. On the following edition of RAW, Bobby defeated Kevin, Seth and Big E to become the no.1 contender for the WWE Championship against Brock Lesnar at Royal Rumble. At the event, Bobby applied the hurt lock on Lesnar but the beast freed himself when he managed to press Lashley at the turnbuckle.

Bobby Lashley tried the hurt lock again but Brock Lesnar grabbed him for an F-5 and while delivering the F-5 Lashley’s leg hit the referee and he went out of commission. Roman reigns interfered and hit Lesnar with a spear and told Heyman to bring the championship belt, which Paul Heyman did, thereby ending his association with Lesnar and betraying him. The tribal chief then hit Brock Lesnar with the belt and Lashley taking advantage of it pinned Lesnar to win the match.

The match was more about Roman and Brock Lesnar’s rivalry and was a chapter in their road to WrestleMania 38 book. When Bobby Lashley appeared on the Out of Character Podcast recently, he seemed to indicate that his showdown with Brock Lesnar was not the way he wanted. Lashley stated that the match with Brock Lesnar was not what he wanted and that there are a lot of factors linked with Lesnar that are like a story for him. Bobby stated that his story with Brock Lesnar goes beyond a few of weeks and that he wants to train for a Pay Per View fight with Brock Lesnar, adding that the preparation would take six to eight weeks.

“It wasn’t the match I wanted because, it’s like, there’s a lot of things that are involved there. Man, for me with him, it’s a story. It’s a bigger story than just a couple of weeks and then we’re on the pay-per-view [premium live event]. It’s more than just that. I want to train for that match like I’m training for a fight. I need six weeks or eight weeks.”

Bobby Lashley is set to face Ciampa at RAW this week for the United States Championship.
