Brock Lesnar is one of the most agile and powerful wrestlers on the earth and the heart goes out especially when The Beast is seen performing F-5s and running through his opponents at the age of 44.

He recently returned to WWE last week on Friday Night Smackdown humbling The Tribal Chief and his Bloodline after Reigns successfully defended his Undisputed Universal Championship in a great match against Riddle. Brock Lesnar offered a rare handshake to Reigns responding to which proved to be a mistake for the entire Bloodline cause the Beast then F-5ed all three of then(I mean obviously not Paul Heyman).

Following the beatdown, WWE announced that Roman Reigns will defend his Undisputed Universal Title in a Last Man Standing at Summerslam. The announcement came as a utter disappointment for most of the hardcore fans as many of them have already had the dilemma of re-watching another Roman-Lesnar match. Most of the internet fans also vent his anger through social media calling out WWE “desperate” for bringing Lesnar back everytime they feels they’re not getting the desired numbers on Television.

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T recently appeared on his “Hall of Fame” podcast where he took various fan quests upon himself including the one which inquired about WWE’s ‘desperation’ for bringing back Brock Lesnar. He said, “I wouldn’t call it desperate,” . I would call it pulling the ace out. That’s what you do.” , Booker T said.

Further, Booker addressed WWE’s state of losing many main-event stars due to injury including the recent cases of Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton and he turned the same on a positive note as he thought that it can be seen as an opportunity for many “younger talents” to step up on the big stage.

Sometimes you gotta put yourself in a position for someone to see you and want to put the rocket on you.”, Booker added. You may not get a chance to do a whole lot in the ring,” Booker continued, “but you gotta make people look at you a certain way and go ‘Man, we need to do something with this guy’ … I never once thought about somebody writing something for me. I said ‘I’m gonna go out there and whoop somebody’s ass,’ to the point to where somebody say, ‘Man, we gotta keep him over!’ That’s why I got 35 titles! Not putting myself over or anything like that, but then again, yes I am.”

WWE does whatever exactly is best for business no matter you like or not. As can be seen, majority of the WWE Universe is disappointed by WWE’s strategy to run back another Roman-Lesnar match as the main-event for it’s biggest show of the summer. But if you look at the numbers these two have drawn being together on television are just flawless.

This last week on Smackdown, Roman defending his title against Riddle was the highest watched quarter of the show with more than 2.5 million viewers tuning in for those last 15 minutes which clearly shows that whenever Reigns is wrestling on the show, people will definitely gather.

In addition, Brock Lesnar’s WWE return video in which he layed out the entire Bloodline has over 4.8 Million views on YouTube in just 3 days of uploading which has become their fastest growing video in a long time. Nothing else have drawn such terrific numbers for WWE, so why in the world would they pull their hands back from doing such stuff once again.
