WWE Hall of Famer Lita set for a huge Championship match on next week’s Raw
Lita is officially going to make her in-ring return next week on Raw, where she will team up with her new ally Becky Lynch.

Becky Lynch and Bayley continued their rivalry on the latest episode of Monday Night Raw. Since her return in November last year, The Man has been at odds with Damage CTRL. However, in the past couple of weeks, she has found an unlikely ally in WWE Hall of Famer Lita. The duo continued to antagonize Damage CTRL this week as well and got a championship match out of it.
In the “Ding Dong, Hello!” segment on Raw last night, Bayley invited her fellow Damage CTRL members as guests. The group came together to celebrate Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky’s 100+ day reign as the WWE women’s tag team champions. However, it was short-lived as Becky Lynch came out to crash the party. The man laid out a challenge for Sky and Kai for the women’s tag titles next week.
After getting trolled by Bayley, Lynch introduced her tag team partner for next week. Lita appeared to assist her former rival in standing up to Damage CTRL and drawing battle lines. At first, Bayley refused the challenge, but after getting instigated, she accepted it on behalf of her faction mates.
This will be Lita’s first match in WWE since her championship match last year at Elimination Chamber against Becky Lynch. The 47-year-old legend last competed on Raw five years ago, after the first women’s-only PPV, Evolution, in 2018. The WWE Universe was anticipating the Hall of Famer’s return to the ring ever since she came out to help Becky 2 weeks ago, and they are excited that they are finally getting it.
Trish Stratus originally planned for a return on Raw

The Twitter account by the name of WRKD Wrestling has reported the original plans for Bayley’s talk-show segment last night. They claim that Trish Stratus was backstage or at Raw but didn’t come out because the “plans changed last minute.” According to them, the WWE Hall of Famer is still expected to make her return to the company soon. Fightful and Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio confirmed these reports through their own sources as well.
Before Elimination Chamber, the plan for Trish was to join Lita and Becky for six-woman tag team matches at the Premium Live Event in Montreal. While this could still be the plan for WrestleMania 39, WRKD has hinted that Stratus will be working on a storyline “she’s wanted to for quite some time.” Seeing that the latest episode of Raw emanated from the city of Ottawa in Canada, it seems an odd choice for them not to have the Canadian legend come out if she was indeed backstage.
