Don’t you think that Liv Morgan is an upstart and has recently begun her claim to the top? Well, if you also feel like she’s a rookie and it’s just been a couple of years or so since she joined WWE, folks that’s no true. Moments ago on Twitter, she tweeted out, “Happy 8 year anniversary to my only constant and the love of my life @wwe”.
As depicted by the tweet, her WWE arrival took place exactly 8 years ago from today. Back in 2014, she signed a developmental deal with WWE, reporting at the performance centre initially. After briefly working on NXT under her current ring name, Morgan was put on the main-roster later in 2017 alongside Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan.
The trio was known as The Riott Squad and they remained under the same belt until 2019. On the February 3rd, 2020 edition of Monday Night Raw, Liv Morgan defeated Lana and following her win, Ruby Riott made her impendenting return after being sidelined due to an injury.
Expecting a nice reunion from her former stable leader, Liv received nothing but betrayal from Ruby as the latter brutally ambushed her once upon a time partner.After the WWE releases of both Riott and Logan, the remaining link was promoted as a singles competitor.
She had some testing battles against the likes of Charlotte Flair, and Morgan successfully aced the hurdle. She kept roaming around for any significant program until last year and after that she entered a grudge with Becky Lynch over the Raw Women’s Championship. Although, Liv wasn’t able to beat Becky, the feud turned her into a star.
Liv Morgan has undergone a character change on WWE SmackDown
Ever since losing her WWE SmackDown women’s title over to Ronda Rousey at Extreme Rules, something has hit the inner soul of Morgan. Her mannerisms now include some drastic changes to what she was displaying previously. Fans are thoroughly enjoying the evilness in her persona and it seems to grow upon everyone. She literally tortured Sonya Deville this past week on the blue brand.
After their resulted in a double-countout, Morgan continued her attack and superplexed Sonya over the pile of steel chairs. The move was executed from the top rope and looked absolutely deadly for both. The crowd went wild for this Liv Morgan during the whole process, a scene which was rare during her stale title reign.
