“It’s still polarising” Liv Morgan compares herself to the sixteen-time World Champion John Cena

With significant ups and downs, Liv Morgan has been enjoying her title reign in WWE for quite some time. Liv has already had two separate title defences, but her WWE booking has not been great and she has not been receiving a champion-deserving booking.
Everyone thinks she is a weak champion who should either relinquish the crown or become the antagonist if the way she is being booked doesn’t change. She initially had a highly contentious ending to a bout against Ronda Rousey at Summerslam, which was also her first title defence after winning the wager.
Following that, Liv was scheduled to face Shayna Bazler in a match. However, the match’s build-up was terrible because Liv was projected as Shayna’s weakest opponent; however, during the match, Liv dominated Shayna and successfully defended her title, which made no sense in the first place because these two things were entirely unrelated.
Liv Morgan getting boos is not affecting her at all
In a recent interview, Liv Morgan made a comparison between herself and the sixteen-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena, noting that in 2010, when people got sick of Cena’s babyface run, they turned against him and began to yell Cena Suck and Let’s go, Cena.
Similar to how Liv is receiving both boos and applause, she is more than okay with the situation as long as she is the champion. She also stated that whether the response is favourable or negative, it doesn’t matter because at least the crowd is reacting to her and she is even taken seriously by them and WWE.
“So, even though it maybe wasn’t the desired reaction, it’s still polarising. As long as we’re getting a reaction, I’m ok! And I’m still champion, so I’m more than OK!… He’s the best of the best, who’s considered the ultimate babyface, went through years and years and years of “Let’s go, Cena, Cena sucks”. So, if that’s how I’m treated, I will be ok with that!”
