It seems WWE has played big once again as they’ll be retaining the 28-year-old superstar with them. He is one other than the Maverick, Logan Paul. Paul was recently live on Instagram where he seemed to have taken a break from his training. Seemingly revealing a “breaking news“, the United States Champion shared how he is renewing his contract with the Stamford-based company.

In the video, Paul built anticipation over how he has been training over a few months in the performance center. He also hyped up his upcoming title defence at the Royal Rumble 2024. However, what caught everyone’s attention was the declaration to commit as a full-time wrestler in WWE. He had also received praise over it from the Greatest-of-All-Time, John Cena. To quote him:

Further, the focus of the video shifts to his United States Title that he captured from Rey Mysterio. Paul, in sync with his character, shows off by running the ropes and practicing bumps. They’re bound to aid him against Kevin Owens in a much-awaited match for his Title.

The Maverick is also scheduled to make an appearance at the Elimination Chamber 2024. The event is scheduled to take place in Optus Stadium in Western Australia, on 24th February 2024. While fans await his opponent, a full-time commitment to WWE could add greater investment from the gifted 28-year-old superstar.

Reflecting on Logan Paul’s career in WWE

Ahead of Saturday’s major WWE Premium Live Event, Royal Rumble, Logan Paul revealed how he’s going to stay with WWE. Paul went on to quote WWE’s recent deal with the Netflix, his chat with John Cena and The Rock joining TKO Board of Directors as some of those developments that indicate the present time as the best for WWE.

The YouTube-star made his debut less than two-years ago at WrestleMania 38. Since then, he has faced several exciting opponents like The Miz, Ricochet, Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins and even the Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns. While victory records speak for themselves, The Maverick has earned the respect of countless fans and superstars alike.

It was in November 2023, at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia he faced the Greatest-Mask-of-All-Time, Rey Mysterio. Though Paul did tried to match Mysterio in terms of agility and high-flying, it was through an underhand tactic that he got himself his first singles title. Time will tell for how long Paul might hold on to the US Title and what all accolades await him in his journey.
