Logan Paul vs. Ricochet
As expected, Logan Paul and Ricochet delivered one hell of a match at SummerSlam. The flamboyant highfliers kicked-off the proceedings in top gear. Initially, Paul had the upper hand in the match. He drove Ricochet’s neck into the ring apron courtesy of a neckbreaker. Both athletes dug deep to even flaunt their movesets, with a slight throwback. During the match, the Maverick mocked Hulk Hogan by delivering his patent leg drop on Ricochet.
In turn, Ricochet answered with a moonsault, which had The Rock’s traces written all over it. They even did a Spanish Fly to the outside, a callback to their gravity-defying spot from Money in the Bank. The most fascinating part came when Logan countered Ricochet on the ropes. Paul executed a brilliant Hurricane DDT off a moonsault attempt, prompting the crowd to jump from their seats.
As the match progressed, it kept the fans on the edge of their seats. The Maverick threw several stiff punches at his opponent. Despite his endless attempts, Logan Paul wasn’t able to put Ricochet away. During the closing moments, Ricochet even kicked off a picture-perfect Springboard Frog Splash. Also, Paul escaped Ricochet’s 450 Splash twice. Watch the video here.
An exclamation point came when a mysterious guy from the outside handed Logan Paul a brass knuckle. The YouTuber then punched Ricochet’s mouth with those brass knuckles to get the pinfall. And just like that, The Social Media Megastar disgruntled the Detroit crowd. He even mocked Samantha Irvin, asking her to announce him as the winner over her partner.
That said, Logan Paul can now peacefully hop onto his private jet en route to Texas. As is known, his brother, Jake Paul, is scheduled to fight Nate Diaz at the American Airlines Center. The Maverick would look to land just in time for his brother’s crucial bout.

After wrestling an 18-minute banger at SummerSlam, Logan Paul landed in Dallas to attend his brother’s fight. Putting that aside for a moment, fans might wonder about his next step in WWE. He has now competed in four one-on-one matches so far in 2023. With a potential Saudi Arabia show happening later this year, he’d probably return then.
After how his match with Ricochet ended, it looks like the two of them can have a rematch. However, with Paul’s part-time schedule, he’s not going to stick around for every other PLE. For now, he can boast about coming out on top in his beef with The Human Highlight Reel. Things will get interesting if Ricochet calls him out for Part-II of their showdown.
