WWE has strict policy terms in regards to the WWE superstars under contract. Many superstars have been released following their violations. One such release came in the form of Mandy Rose.

Mandy Rose is a former WWE superstar who made an impact on both the NXT and main rosters. She was recently surrounded by controversy due to explicit content she shared on her FanTime page. As a result, WWE released her in December 2022 since the company found her violating their terms and policies. Ever since then, there has been great turmoil in the wrestling world. Some people came out in support of her, whereas others remained in support of WWE. WWE Hall of Famer Madusa came out in support of Mandy Rose and shared her thoughts on the controversy. 

During an interview with Just Alyx, WWE Hall of Famer Madusa discussed the controversy. She said that Mandy has her own individual choices in life. Furthermore, she was well aware of the fact whether or not it was on her contact. The HOF said that it shouldn’t be a big deal. What matters most is that she’s happy. She also added that if her fans support her, then they should support her decision as well. “Mandy is a full-grown woman and she has her own choices in life. Repercussions come from your choices in life. Her doing what she did, and she knew going in. […] But OK, it was her choice, ” she said.

During an interview after her exit, Mandy Rose stated that she was disappointed with her release. But she was all the more grateful to WWE for everything it gave her. Rose said that she realized and learned from the whole situation that her name, image, and likeness are extremely valuable. Performing in front of thousands of live crowds and on television is overwhelming. Rose, on the other hand, made $1 million from her FanTime account after her WWE release.

While there has been a dichotomy between the fans, WWE legend Madusa showed her strong support for her. She said we shouldn’t just sit here and ridicule someone for their choices. The WWE Universe, however, showed strong support for the star. They believe that the company knows her potential and will bring her back in the future.

Mandy Rose debuted on the main roster on November 20, 2017. She was introduced to the WWE Universe by Paige, along with Sonya Deville. The three of them were members of the faction known as Absolution. Rose participated in her first Royal Rumble in 2018. Moreover, the NXT star also competed in the inaugural women’s Elimination Chamber match.

She was a part of many incredible storylines and feuds on the main roster. One of the prominent storylines that the fans loved was when WWE paired her with Otis. The NXT star returned to the yellow brand in July 2021. She formed the faction Toxic Attraction alongside Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne. As a result, she went on to win the NXT Women’s Championship. Moreover, she surpassed 365 days of her title reign before losing it to Roxanne Perez a day before WWE released her.
