Major update on Triple H’s surprise announcement for WWE Preview Special

Peacock will soon air the WWE Preview Special 2024. Ever since the announcement was made, several rumors surfaced about how it could be related to WWE going towards territorial aggrandizement. To elaborate, when Michael Cole said that Triple H was about to make the announcement, rumors about the WWE-TNA collaboration flooded the scene.

However, the latest developments suggest that this might not be the case. As reported by PW Insider, there is no connection with TNA. As per the reports, there seem to be no plans for opening the ‘Forbidden Door’ and uncertainty still looms around what might come out of the mouth of the Game.

For those who don’t know, the rumors started after TNA billed their latest event, a “Premium Live Event, “ a term coined by WWE. Further, The promotion is also launching the TNA+ streaming services on Friday, a day after the WWE announcement.

Moreover, the excitement was upsurged when TNA announced the airing of a special episode on Thursday. It would cover some big moments around the rebranding from Impact Wrestling and back to TNA. It is a major initiative set to take place before TNA Hard to Kill on 13th January 2024.

Lastly, rumors of former WWE Superstar, Naomi, aka Trinity, returning to WWE Royal Rumble also added fuel to the fire. It would be interesting to see what both companies have in their pockets.

Possible Update on WWE Preview Special 2024 and another Peacock Show

Streaming platform, Peacock, has confirmed that WWE Preview Special 2024 will air for one hour. Meaning, it would end at 9 PM ET on Thursday. It was also given that the broadcasting team of Megan Morant and Matt Camp would host the show. Peacock will air another special live event, the Best of WWE: the Best of 2023. It will end at 8 PM just before the start of WWE Preview Special 2024.

A synopsis suggested that it would contain the best matches of 2023, however it isn’t clear. Moreover, there also remains uncertainty around who will be the hosts for the show.

It seems the Stamford-based company has packed up the week with special products for every day. The start was a banger as the Raw Day One created possibly some of the best moments of 2024. With the thrilling return of The Rock, the wrestling forums remain abuzz with the abundant possibilities in sight for the upcoming months.
