The news of The Rock being in the main event of WrestleMania 40 is pissing off several fans. It is exciting that the dream match between Rocky and Roman Reigns is finally happening. However, fans are not expecting it to be at the expense of Cody Rhodes. After the chances of Rock vs. Roman went around the internet, a report stated how Rhodes’ babyface reaction was expected for WWE.

Wrestling Observer Radio has reported that WWE is planning to turn Rhodes into a Daniel Bryan. To trace back the path of Bryan’s huge babyface Road to WrestleMania 30, WWE is expecting to make The American Nightmare feel like a martyr and thus, increase his fandom even more with his babyface attitude. The treatment Cody is getting right now was expected and has turned out pretty accurate for WWE.

With Reigns possibly facing Rocky at WrestleMania 40, Cody might shift his focus to the World Heavyweight Championship.
