Recently, Riddle bought a new opulent black Mercedes Benz, almost a month after his release.

The former United States Champion shared the news on his Instagram account. Moreover, he posted a photo alongside his partner, Misha Montana, next to the car. It looks like Matt Riddle is enjoying his time off from professional wrestling, as he was seen spending time with his close ones.

After the JFK airport incident, many believed that the end of the former UFC star was on the cards. Furthermore, he reportedly had real-life animosity with a few superstars backstage. WWE management believed that Matt Riddle “burned through many chances” throughout his run with the company. Therefore, his eventual release was always a matter of “when” rather than “if”.

Later, TMZ released footage showing that the 37-year-old was intoxicated and causing a ruckus during the alleged airport incident. Despite his real-life problems, he had an impressive stint with the WWE. Most notably, Matt Riddle teamed up with Randy Orton to form RK-Bro, which proved to be one of the most entertaining runs of the Legend Killer’s career.

Matt Riddle reportedly in negotiations to fight with Jake Paul

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there have been talks about a potential fight between Matt Riddle and Logan Paul’s brother, Jake Paul. However, the stipulation of the bout is unknown. “If it’s boxing rules, it’s likely an easy, safe fight for Paul, and Riddle would be doing it for a payday,” noted WON.

Moreover, a MMA rules match is also a possibility, given both athletes’ backgrounds in the sport. Needless to say, a potential battle between the two controversial stars will gain major attention online. Also, it might end up being Matt Riddle’s first appearance on screen after his WWE departure.
