Matt Riddle was released from the WWE on September 22. According to sources, the company decided to fire him after he “burned through many chances“. Afterward, Riddle’s ex-girlfriend, Daniella Petrow, posted a clip online, claiming that she was happy about the Original Bro’s tenure ending. In reply, Matt Riddle’s current partner, Misha Montana, lambasted Petrow and others for their insensitive remarks about the situation.
The adult actress responded on X to the Ringside News article, which covers Riddle’s ex-girlfriend’s comments. “A new low even for you. Anyone that cries tears of joy for someone to lose their job (especially when they have 5 children they support) is an evil low life,” she wrote. Montana did not entertain Daniella’s comments on Matt Riddle’s release.
Moreover, she berated online media forums for their speculation. “You give this liar with a criminal record and alleged history of mental instability a reason to continue to be obsessive, It’s ins*ne. It would be comedic if it wasn’t so disgusting. Your speculation is disgusting and infatuation with trying to demonize someone for article hits is deplorable. It’s fascinating how comfortable people just became with defamation,” Misha Montana added.
Matt Riddle last appeared for WWE during the visit to India at Superstar Spectacle. However, his incident at the JFK airport seemed to be the final nail in the coffin of his career. Along with that, the King of Bros. encountered other issues, such as the leaked private tape and drug problems throughout his run.

Matt Riddle teamed with Drew McIntyre before WWE release
WWE fired Matt Riddle during this past week’s mass releases. Despite his off-screen issues, he featured prominently on television. Before being released, the 37-year-old formed a new tag team with the Scottish Warrior, Drew McIntyre.
During their brief run together, the pair feuded with the Viking Raiders and The New Day. Furthermore, the two-time WWE Champion was seemingly on the path towards betraying Riddle. However, the latter’s recent controversy led to his being kept from appearing on screen.
With rumors of Randy Orton’s return brewing, the King of Bros would have played a key role in his comeback. The duo was quite popular with members of the WWE Universe due to their dynamic pairing and hilarious interactions.
