Major update on potential location for the “dream match” between Roman Reigns and The Rock
It appears like WWE is close to finalizing the host venue of WrestleMania 41.

At this juncture, Roman Reigns and The Rock are two ticked-off individuals united by a cause. However, at some point, as fans believe, the Hollywood actor will turn on his cousin, leading to that inevitable battle of attrition between the Samoan stalwarts. General consensus points to next year’s WrestleMania being the potential destination to stage it. And now, a major update on its location has emerged.
Yesterday, the CEO of Minnesota Sports and Events, Wendy Blackshaw, teased that they’re all set to add a third event to their catalog. She described it as something that would boost the state’s economy in a way second only to the Super Bowl. Though not official, the murmurings have already begun. The wording seemed to qualify as an entertainment rendezvous analogous to WrestleMania.
This past July, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that Minnesota was the frontrunner to stage WWE’s biggest show in 2025. If that ends up being the case, the US Bank Stadium, which plays host to the NFL’s Minnesota Vikings, could be the venue.
And for many, the impending showdown between Rock and Reigns may share the center stage in downtown Minneapolis. WWE usually announces its home for WrestleMania an year in advance. It’s been the case for the past few years now.
Likewise, the fans could expect the promotion to follow suit at The Showcase of the Immortals in Philadelphia. The years-in-the-making showdown between the two biggest names in the Samoan dynasty would’ve unfolded this year itself. But thanks to an unprecedented soar in Cody Rhodes’ validation from the WWE Universe.
The Rock and Roman Reigns to confront arch-rivals on SmackDown
Tonight on SmackDown, The Rock and Roman Reigns go face-to-face with Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. On the heels of The Great One’s counter offer for the babyfaces, these four men will meet on the blue brand.
They’ll be within touching distance of each other. That too for the first time since the WrestleMania 40 press event in Las Vegas. Cody and Seth are expected to do their part and nod in approval for the proposed tag team match at WrestleMania XL.
Apart from that, it would be interesting to see if Rhodes avenges the smack to his face that was heard aloud in Sin City. He and Rollins need to take down The Bloodline on April 6. Or else Cody’s title match against Reigns will be plagued with whatever The Bloodline comes up with.
