Despite a broken arm, although in kayfabe, Cody Rhodes isn’t written off television. WWE knows his worth and what would be the consequences if they purposely hand him a hiatus. That being said, the American Nightmare is actively participating in live events too. Continuing that hot run, he’ll be appearing on Monday Night Raw this week in Hartford. Even though he was already advertised for the taping, his role wasn’t specific for the night, until a few hours ago.

As announced on their digital platforms, Cody Rhodes will be a guest on the Miz TV. Fresh off laying an open challenge towards Brock Lesnar, it remains to be seen what he’ll have to say on must-see television. Many fans have often argued about the pointless approach Rhodes is having in feuding with Lesnar. If this trilogy doesn’t ends on a satisfying note, it can hurt Cody’s stock.

At the moment, he’s evenly matched with Lesnar at 1-1. At Night of Champions, The Prodigal Son passed out to the Kimura Lock after being locked in the clutches for 3 minutes. Two days later on Raw, the former AEW EVP claimed how Brock Lesnar isn’t man enough to make him tap out. As a result, Rhodes issued an open challenge for The Beast Incarnate to end this once and for all.

It’s totally up to WWE at this point as to when they want to have Lesnar vs. Rhodes III. The upcoming premium-live-events include Money in the Bank on July 1st in London and SummerSlam in Detroit. At this point, neither of them has a secondary feel to it. As seen recently, the company is treating their international events like everything.

However, having that highly anticipated rematch in London won’t benefit them. So being so because they’ve already sold-out the 02 arena. On the contrary, the promotion still has the opportunity to move thousands of tickets for SummerSlam. Hence, taking things from a business perspective, WWE will be smart enough to book the 3rd chapter between Cody Rhodes & Brock Lesnar in August.

That leaves Rhodes unassigned with anything for Money in the Bank. However, that may very well change this Monday. A few days ago, WRKD Wrestling named The American Nightmare as one of the participants rumored for the Men’s ladder match. If that’s still the plan, he may end up being on the card in London, trying his fate to climb the ladder and grab that briefcase.
