“This girl can’t act. Nor should she be able to, she’s not a trained actor”- When Chael Sonnen went brutally honest about Ronda Rousey’s hollywood career

Ronda Rousey once got slammed about her Hollywood career by Chael Sonnen

Ronda Rousey will forever remain one of the biggest names in the history of Mixed Martial Arts and namely so as her invaluable contributions towards this industry is second to none. The Former Bantamweight UFC strikeforce was known for knocking her opponents down during their bouts inside of the octagon. Her UFC record stands at 12-2-0 with only 2 losses written over her legendary career. As Rousey was named as the single biggest attraction in MMA, no one ever believed that the Baddest Woman on the Planet should leave this thing and pursue any other career but Ronda had other plans.

By 2014, she had played many cameos in The Expandables 3, Fast and Furious 7 and the Entourage but those really didn’t worked out as expected for the MMA legend. Her first lead role came in 2018’s Mile 22 , the film got slammed for its messy and incoherent story. The Mark Wahlberg and Ronda Rousey starrer received utterly poor reviews and became one of the worst rated films of the summer.

The film critics even called this the far-right conspiracy website Infowars being drunkenly yelled at. Ronda was getting Hollywood offers until she remained undefeated in the UFC but with two consecutive losses against Holly Holm and Amunda Nunes, her stock drastically tumbled down and all the movie-talk kept fizzling down.

Former MMA Bellator Legend Chael Sonnen also gave some brutally honest facts about the Hollywood career of Ronda Rousey speaking on TMZ Sports calling her unable to act and getting those previous chances in front of the camera limelights as a strong reputation of her MMA starpower. Here’s exactly what Sonnen once said about Rousey’s acting gig,

“Be careful with that. I want what’s best for Ronda, but if were operating in a level of reality here these things are all tied together here. This girl can’t act. Nor should she be able to, she’s not a trained actor. She was in those opportunities because she was very famous and she had some offers herself. It is a house of cards, if one goes, they all go.”
