Natalya speaks about why she is the best of all times

Natalya has recently made an appearance on WWE’s developmental brand NXT, as the self-proclaimed B.O.A.T (Best Of All Time) sought to educate the future generation on who is in charge. Meanwhile, an old interview with Natalya started surfacing on the web. The interview was hosted by Ring the Belle back in 2019, just days before Natalya was to take on Becky Lynch for the WWE RAW Women’s Championship title at SummerSlam.

In the interview, Natalya said, “I’m excited, I’m really looking forward to it, I think it’s going to be awesome. Obviously, I’m from Canada, so it’s going to be even more special because it’s in my home country. But going up against Becky Lynch, I have so much respect for Becky?and I also can’t wait to give her the ass whooping of a lifetime.”

Prior to the interview, Natalya had tweeted referring to her upcoming fight, where she said that Becky Lynch has seemed to lost her soul.

This is what she wrote on Twitter, “Becky, I never changed. I’m still the same person who sent you that letter after this tour of Japan, telling you to “never lose your sparkle.” You changed. You assume for the better. You have your face on posters now. But you lost your soul. Tomorrow, you lose your title, too.”

Natalya’s character portrayal strategy hasn’t quite changed over all these years. In a recent interview, Natalya similarly expressed her thoughts on the current crop of WWE NXT 2.0 female performers.

Nattie revealed that her recent altercation with Cora Jade was more of self-defense than an attack since she believes that NXT 2.0 stars are vying for her spot. When Cora Jade first met Nattie in the ring, it could be claimed that she was nothing but respectful. However, with all of Jade’s recent potential, one of NXT’s new upstarts could pose a threat to the Guinness World Record Holder.
