Mickie James is one of the most prominent names in pro wrestling. Her husband Nick Aldis is considered one of the most underrated superstars of this generation. His work in the NWA as champion is considered to be one of the best in recent history. His 1043-day reign for the NWA Heavyweight title changed the perspective of fans towards the promotion in recent years.

However, since leaving the company, fans have speculated that Aldis might retire from wrestling. In a recent interview, Nick Aldis cleared the air as he said that he is currently in his wrestling prime. He also said that people mistake him for being too old. Aldis stated that is around the same age as Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, or Seth Rollins. Therefore, he believes that his best is yet to come in the near future.

While talking on, Niko Knows Best, the former TNA World Champion said, “I think sometimes I get put in the generation ahead of me in terms of age. I’m 36, and I’m very much in my prime. I sort of go, ‘Wait a minute, where does all this discussion about being done wrestling come from?’ Everyone just needs to chill.” Nick Aldis is currently rumored to be one of the producers for WWE’s weekly television show.

He was working for Impact Wrestling until July, when his contract ended. It was rumored that he signed a deal with WWE as a producer on a trial basis and might sign a full-time contract later. However, when asked about his status working with WWE, Aldis said that he could neither deny nor confirm his work with the promotion.

She also held the Women’s Championship five times during her time in the company. Therefore, she is considered a legend in the women’s division. After leaving WWE, Mickie James joined Impact Wrestling, which was called TNA at the time.

James started dating Nick Aldis in 2010, around the same time she joined TNA. The two dated for almost four years before they had their first child in September 2014. In December 2014, the couple got engaged and married exactly a year later. They have been together ever since.

During this time, James worked in Impact, NWA, and WWE while also appearing on the independent circuit for sporadic appearances. On the other hand, Aldis also worked in Impact Wrestling and NWA for the better part of the last decade.
