Nikki Bella broke the news about her marriage with Artem Chigvintsev to fans on social media. The former WWE Divas Champion, however, kept all the major glimpses of the event away from the public eye. However, she has been very eager to share the course of events with her fans as ‘Nikki Bella says I Do’ premieres on eEntertainment.
Nikki Bella walked down the aisle with Artem Chigvintsev in August 2022. After two years of being engaged and knowing each other, the couple decided to carry their relationship forward. The wedding, which took place in Paris, had a significant connection to Nikki’s ex-boyfriend, John Cena.
Speaking to US Weekly, half of the Bella Twins revealed an interesting story about her wedding dress. Nikki revealed that one of the dresses she wore to her wedding was purchased when she was dating the leader of Cenation. The dress was a special one for Nikki Bella, and it made her feel powerful.
Nikki was so in love with the dress that she wanted to wear it to her wedding too, despite it being associated with her ex. She felt that the dress was for her only and should not be associated with someone who had been there in her past. “I just couldn’t help but feel like, Why do I have to give up the dress that I love because it was maybe gonna walk down another aisle,” said Nikki.

Artem Chigvintsev was comfortable with Nikki Bella wearing the old dress
Nikki and Artem share a very strong bond of love. Nikki’s idea behind wearing the dress she purchased for John Cena invited much criticism. Among these critics was her twin sister – Brie Bella, who was not down with Nikki’s thoughts. But Nikki Bella wasn’t ready to back off. The only thing that could stop her was Artem Chigvintsev.
The ‘Dancing with the stars’ fame husband was very supportive of his wife, saying that the criticism was completely unfounded and that no one should waste time thinking about it. He also told Nikki that the dress didn’t bother him at all. Artem’s statement was all that Nikki wanted from her partner.
John Cena and Nikki Bella were one of the most popular couples in the WWE. However, the two couldn’t continue to live together and parted ways after six years of dating. The news of their breakup broke many people’s hearts, including those who shipped the couple. However, the two have now moved on in their lives and found new life partners for themselves.
