Pat McAfee is one of the purest athletes in all of the sporting world as the former footballer turned wrestler is having a time of his life working for WWE. Pat McAfee currently works for WWE a color commentator on WWE’s Smackdown and has been praised by one and all for his amazing mic skills . In a very short time Pat McAfee has made a successful transition from a footballer to a wrestler with his match at Wrestlemania against Theory has garnered appreciation from the fans and from experts in the industry as well.

Pat McAfee started in the world of sports entertainment after the former NFL superstar made several appearances as a Pre-show analyst at the NXT events and later became a regular presence on the weekly tapings. McAfee’s in ring abilities how ever limited were highlighted in his feud with former NXT Champion Adam Cole. Pat McAfee during his feud with Cole gained a lot of in ring experience as he performed a Swanton Bomb of the top of a cage during one match and also took a panama sunrise from Cole.

WWE last Saturday were in Vegas for the premium live event of Money in the Bank. The event itself has been appreciated by fans and industry experts as the show included many great matches. Pat McAfee got the first hand experience of the successful event as he was at the ringside commentating on the event along side Michael Cole.

MITB kicked of with a slobber knocker of a women’s MITB ladder match, the match featured many cool spots with everyone involved gave everything they had. Fan Favourite Liv Morgan came out on top with the coveted briefcase. The amazing match was followed by The Usos vs Street Profits and the two teams tore the house down in a epic encounter.

Although a star studded men’s MITB ladder match closed the show with Theory becoming the youngest superstar in the history to win the namesake match but the star of the show was Liv Morgan who cashed her briefcase on an injured Rousey to become the Smackdown Women’s Champion which was a feel good moment for everyone in attendance.

While speaking of the premium live event on the “The Pat McAfee Show”, the color commentator was excited and called the event one of the best he had ever seen :

“Liv cashed in her Money In The Bank, dream come true, one of the biggest nights of all time. Bobby Lashley — new United States Champion. The Usos and Street Profits have maybe one of the best matches I’ve ever seen live,” he said. “Then Theory wins the Money In The Bank with a Nigerian Giant [ending] up going through our commentary table, and so many other hijinks and sh*t.”

After the show went off air Pat McAfee was attacked by former footballer and team mate happy Corbin, the former had challenged Corbin for a match at Summerslam and former US Champion answered in his own way  by giving McAfee a ‘End of Days’ outside the ring. Pat McAfee and Happy Corbin will probably face each other at Summerslam.
