The Bloodline saga will go down as one of the greatest storylines in the history of WWE. The interesting thing, however, is that it is far from over, as Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson returned and changed the whole dynamic of the faction. The Wiseman Paul Heyman agrees with that sentiment, asserting that regardless of the result at WrestleMania, the Bloodline story has so much more to explore.
Paul Heyman spoke on The Rich Eisen Show and discussed the long story of the Bloodline saga. The 58-year-old expressed his misery and said that every time he thought this might be the final chapter of this story, suddenly a new chapter opens up with countless possibilities. He further added that with The Rock joining The Bloodline, it has opened the door for multiple scenarios to unfold.
The Bloodline took birth on the July 9, 2021, episode of SmackDown, when The Usos pledged their alliance to Roman Reigns. Since then, they have dominated the entire WWE, winning championships and main-eventing multiple WrestleMania’s. Reigns became the longest reigning WWE Universal Champion, while The Usos became the longest reigning World Tag Team Champions, beating everyone who came in their path.
Every time I talk about innings, it gets shoved up my tuchus. Also, I’ve kind of gotten away from baseball analogies because I’ve learned in my experience that baseball is fake. Whatever inning that we’re in, we’re dominating that inning and it’s a game that I would suggest may go into many extra innings as well and some of that we have to give credit to the final boss, Dwayne The Rock Johnson.Paul Heyman on The Bloodline saga
Their story took a huge turn, however, when The Rock turned heel and joined the Bloodline. They will battle the duo of Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes in the Night 1 main event of WrestleMania 40. Despite Heyman’s comments, this year’s event holds major implications for not only the Undisputed title but the future of the dominant faction.
Paul Heyman talks about WWE Hall of Fame winning speech
Recently, The Wiseman Paul Heyman was announced as the first inductee of the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2024. Wrestling fans cannot wait for him to share his experiences over his four-decade-long career in his winning speech. Despite being one of the best talkers in the industry’s history, Heyman said he doesn’t have any speech ready for the ceremony.
Speaking with Rich Eisen, Heyman talked about what his Hall of Fame speech is going to look like. The 58-year-old said that he has no speech and is just going to go with the flow. He further added that he is going to feel the atmosphere and the crowd’s reactions to find motivation for what he’s going to say.
No I'm going to figure this out as we go along. I'm going to take the pulse of the room that night. I don't really know what the crowd itself is expecting from me you know? Is this the crowd that wants me talk about the modern-day WWE?Paul Heyman via The Rich Eisen Show
Heyman rejected the offer for an the induction into the Hall of Fame many times before finally accepting it this year. Needless to say, he will always hold a special place in the memories of every wrestling fan, as his name is among the most influential figures in the business.
