Paul Heyman calls out Stephen Smith for an out-of-line greeting to the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns' special counsel Paul Heyman humorously expresses his disliking for the way Stephen Smith greeted the Tribal Chief during the talk show.
Stephen Smith, Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman
Roman Reigns recently appeared on ESPN First Take and discussed a lot of things with Stephen Smith. The Tribal Chief is used to getting acknowledged and respected in the WWE. However, on the talk show, he was treated casually by Smith. The host walked up to Roman and hugged him, which concerned Paul Heyman as there was a change in his reaction.
As a result, the Wise Man told the journalist that he was not allowed to touch the Tribal Chief like that. Stephen Smith was very casual with Roman Reigns at the show. He slung a Championship over his shoulder. Furthermore, Smith humorously talked about taking Paul Heyman’s place as the special counsel.
However, the highlight was the way Stephen Smith greeted Roman and how Paul Heyman reacted to it. The talk show host walked professionally towards the Undisputed Champion and hugged him similar to any other celebrity. But it bugged Roman’s special counsel, as Heyman reacted to it and said,“It gets me!”
Paul Heyman has always been known for delivering hilarious moments on screen. He gave a glimpse of it on the talk show by his way of protecting the Tribal Chief. The former ECW CEO serves as the special counsel to Roman Reigns and therefore he humorously tried to play his part.
Roman’s run as the Tribal Chief has been nothing less than magnificence. He will face Jey Uso at SummerSlam for the Undisputed Universal Championship in a Tribal Combat match. Reigns is arguably the biggest star that WWE has produced this generation. His unprecedented 1000+ days title reign is the epitome of his excellence.

Roman Reigns’ direction after SummerSlam
The Tribal Chief is currently the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion and has been dominating the landscape. Roman Reigns is all set to defend his title at SummerSlam against his cousin, Jey Uso. However, it is pretty unlikely for him to drop his championship at this point in time.
Roman Reigns’ future after SummerSlam is vague at this point, but he is likely to have a fresh feud after subjugating Jey Uso. However, there have been rumors that he will face Bobby Lashley later this year. This might come to fruition soon as Lashley has returned and will look to have a new feud on the main roster.
Furthermore, Roman is also rumored to have a feud with AJ Styles since the latter has not done much since returning. Styles is one of the most prominent stars on the roster, and therefore he could deliver a great feud with the Tribal Chief. The possibilities for the Undisputed Champion are endless.
