“Let me F**K with them” When Paul Heyman revealed how he convinced Mr. McMahon to enter on CM Punk’s music
Paul Heyman is one of the best mic slayers in the company. The conviction with which Heyman delivers his promos really attracts fans and observers towards him. Heyman has managed the likes of Brock Lesnar, Kurt Angle, Big Show, Rob Van Dam, CM Punk and he is the current special counsel for the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Though Heyman has shared a special connection with all the stars he has managed, his run with CM Punk is widely regarded as the reason why Punk got so much push. Punk had once said himself that- “Paul Heyman saw something in me that no one else wanted”.
Heyman and Punk were together before the straight-edge superstar decided to say goodbye to the company. Punk’s exit however was not well received by the fans as they continued to hijack WWE shows with the CM Punk chants. But Heyman found the best way to deal with it and surprisingly it worked too. On March 3, 2014, Monday Night Raw was being held in Chicago, which is also CM Punk’s hometown as well. The show went on-air, and the fans started chanting CM Punk as many would’ve expected.

Heyman said that he showed Vince McMahon a sample of what was coming from the fans in Chicago. Heyman said that fans were about to hijack the show and he had got just the perfect plan to execute. Therefore, Vince gave a nod to the plan.
Heyman said- “Let me f*** with them. Let me just go out there and f*** with them.’ (In Vince McMahon’s voice) ‘Goddammit man! What are you going to say?’ ‘I don’t know! ‘Just give me 15 minutes. Just let me go out there and lure them in and take it away from them. And believe me, they’ll stop trolling.”
