The Wise Man Paul Heyman currently works as the special counsel for Roman Reigns. Since his pairing with The Tribal Chief, he has been part of not only The Bloodline storyline but also showed his interactions with SmackDown backstage interviewer Kayla Braxton. But now Heyman has opined about Braxton as he believes her to be sapiosexual and thus lusts over him for his wisdom during a video message shown on WWE’s The Bump.
Kayla was also the host of WWE’s The Bump show, but in a recent episode, she bid farewell to the show. She stated that her work at SmackDown will remain intact to her but only her host position shall be replaced by Megan Morant on The Bump. Thus, to send a goodbye message to her, Heyman filmed a pre-recorded message for Kayla while being in New York City with Roman Reigns for his interview on ESPN First Take at Seaport District Studios.
His video message stated that he was “invited by the schmucks that produce The Bump to come on and roast Kayla Braxton”. Although he denied that idea to appreciate her by the means of this message. Paul stated that her time spent with Braxton over the two years on SmackDown and The Bump was honorable. Heyman then added stating that she has admired her and her remarkable talent ever since she showed up in WWE.
The Wise Man then continued buttering her up with his oh-so-sweet words and praised her for nearly a minute. But as he thought that the cameras were turned off, he spoke his heart out about his thoughts for Braxton. The cameras continued filming as he asked the cameraman, “She really is sapiosexual, right? And that’s why she loves me.” Paul then continued praising himself and stated that Kayla’s lust for him has no boundaries and concluded by saying that without him she is nothing.
Heyman was then seen walking down the street as he hilariously mocked himself and laughed at his praising statements for Braxton. The dynamic between Paul and Kayla has been a hilarious one since their pairing on Talking Smack in 2020. The duo has interacted so many times that she is called upon as Paul’s alleged girlfriend.

Stephen A. Smith requested Paul Heyman to appear on ESPN First Take
Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman made their appearance on ESPN’s First Take this Tuesday. The Tribal Chief was accompanied by The Wise Man for this interview while only the former was invited. But as the host of the show saw Paul coming in with Reigns to the Seaport District Studios, he made sure to have him on the show.
Multiple sources from ESPN have confirmed that the interview was originally scheduled to only have Roman. But Smith saw Heyman when he greeted Reigns and thought of having him by The Tribal Chief’s side. Stephen talked with the producer and decided that Heyman should appear on the show.
The Head of the Table appeared on the show to promote his Tribal Combat match with Jey Uso at SummerSlam. The Detroit event is around the corner, and this main event match has been the major attraction for it. While the interview added a bit more spice to it with both stars’ notable remarks.
