Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson finally acknowledged Roman Reigns on Raw Day 1, sending the wrestling community into a frenzy. The Brahma Bull called out his cousin at the end of his promo, seemingly challenging him to a future showdown. As a result, fans awaited The Tribal Chief’s response on this week’s episode of SmackDown. However, it was The Wiseman, Paul Heyman, who responded on behalf of Roman.

At the beginning of the episode, The Bloodline leader was asked about his comments on The Rock. The former had no interest in speaking about The People’s Champion as he laughed before walking off. Later, Heyman addressed almost all of Roman Reigns’ rivals, including the legend. In a scathing reply, he tore into The Rock for wanting to sit at ‘The Head of the Table’.

The Rock namedrops Roman Reigns because The Rock wants to sit at the head of the table. To sit at the head of the table, one must be invited to a dinner of relevancy. The Rock has not been invited, nor will he be, because The Rock is just like everybody else. He's looking for a shortcut to the headlines.
Paul Heyman’s response to The Rock

According to Paul E, The Great One must be invited to the dinner of relevancy for him to accomplish it. Moreover, the advocate mentioned that Rocky’s using Reigns’ name to garner attention and headlines. Interestingly, Heyman claimed that the two ways of going viral today were either dating Taylor Swift or calling out The Undisputed Universal Champion.

Finally, he concluded by stating that no man in the world can dethrone The Tribal Chief from his throne. Needless to say, The Bloodline was not at all pleased by The Rock’s statement. It will be interesting to see whether the 51-year-old reacts to Paul Heyman or not.

Roman Reigns demands Paul Heyman to change the fatal 4-way Royal Rumble match

The Bloodline stood tall at the end of SmackDown: New Years Revolution. After disrupting the triple threat main event, Roman Reigns believed he had put a stop to all of his three contenders’ threats. However, he was oblivious to what had happened outside the ring. Nick Aldis informed Paul Heyman that The Tribal Chief would defend his title in a fatal 4-way at Royal Rumble.

WWE released a clip of Reigns’ reaction to finding out his next challenge. Clearly, the champion was irate at the decision, as he immediately told The Wiseman to fix the situation. Last week, Aldis told the 38-year-old that he didn’t care about what he thought of him.

Therefore, there was tension between The Bloodline and the SmackDown General Manager. Moreover, this is set to escalate after what transpired on the recent episode of SmackDown.
