The 57-year-old Paul Heyman is considered to be one of the greatest wrestling managers in history. In his ECW days, he more than often roasted pretty much every superstar that crossed his path. And recently, Heyman confirmed that he is still that guy.

Without a doubt, Paul Heyman is gold on the mic. His mic skills rival that of John Cena and The Rock. Throughout his long career in WWE, Paul Heyman has managed a lot of WWE wrestlers. He did the talking, while his wrestlers did the fighting. To say that he was good at his job is an understatement, as he not only managed the wrestlers really well but also destroyed their opponents on the mic. Although in doing so, he would mostly be on the receiving end of a beatdown.

In a recent video clip on Twitter, fans were reliving the good old days when Paul Heyman absolutely demolished JBL in a segment. The tweet was captioned “Paul Heyman was brutal!”. Heyman quickly took notice of the tweet, promising his fans that he was still as brutal as he was back then. He just keeps the brutality a bit in check, as he said, “Wisdom prevails on the Island of Relevancy!“.

In the video clip, Paul Heyman can be seen taking a jab at JBL, who was the WWE World Heavyweight Champion at that time. His championship reign was disliked by many, as they thought that JBL was an undeserving champion. His extensive title reign came at the cost of many popular wrestlers, including The Undertaker, Eddie Guerrero, and Booker T. In the clip, Paul Heyman tells JBL that the only reason he was still the WWE Champion was because Triple H didn’t want to work Tuesdays. This was meant to convey that JBL wouldn’t stand a chance at retaining his title if The Game came after him.

Paul Heyman is best known for being the manager of The Beast, Brock Lesnar, for about 20 years. He did a pretty splendid job at being Brock Lesnar’s manager. Heyman did all the talking for him while The Beast did all the dirty work. He betrayed Lesnar multiple times in his career but ended up getting back together with him.

Paul Heyman eventually turned against The Beast and joined forces with Roman Reigns. Ever since joining Reigns, he has remained loyal to The Tribal Chief. He is currently also managing The Bloodline, a villainous stable formed by Roman Reigns.
