Logan Paul flies from Detroit to Dallas
The opening match for SummerSlam saw a high-flying bout between Logan Paul and Ricochet. The latter tried everything to secure a win over The Maverick. But Paul’s heel tactics helped him steal a victory over the Human Highlight Reel. Following his match, the YouTube star rushed his way to Dallas to attend his brother Jake Paul’s boxing match.
Logan Paul updated his status as he was seen flying over to the American Airlines Center. Putting stories on his Instagram, Paul updated that he had won his bout at SummerSlam and was getting escorted to his flight that was waiting to take off for Dallas. He also put another story that shows how he has reached the flight that will take him directly to Jake Paul.
Jake Paul’s bout with Nate Diaz is scheduled for the same night but a bit later than SummerSlam. Logan will be getting into the American Airlines Center in Dallas to walk down with Jake for his professional boxing contest. Thus, Paul demanded to kick off the show and battle with Ricochet in the opening segment of the show.
The match between Logan and Ricochet saw some incredible moments from both ends. A close moment came when Ricochet kicked out of a picture-perfect Springboard Frog Splash. But the YouTube star eventually grabbed a victory and mocked Ricochet’s fiancé, Samantha Irvin, asking her to announce his name twice.
Who handed over the brass knuckles to Logan Paul?
SummerSlam 2023 kicked off with a high-flying match between Logan Paul and Ricochet. The WWE Universe was excited to witness the match, and both stars lived upto the fans’ expectations. However, The Maverick won the match when he knocked out Ricochet with brass knuckles in his hand, handed over to him by his manager.
Jeffrey Levin is Paul’s manager and has worked with him since 2017. He has been noticed in several YouTube videos of Logan being referred to as ‘Manager Jeff’. Logan has tried using such tactics even before, when he sought help from KSI at WrestleMania 39. But this time his plan resulted in his victory, unlike at WrestleMania.
