This incident happened on February 19th, 2023. Finally, the police released a statement on this issue. Many fans among the WWE Universe are standing with the 29-year-old as they see her keeping a gun as completely justified. Sonya Deville faced a tragic incident when one of her stalkers crossed the line and invaded her home. It is believed that since then, Deville has kept a handgun with her.
Police in Atlantic City, NJ, issued a statement regarding Sonya’s case. The statement provided the WWE Universe with some extra information. Sonya Deville was initially celebrating her engagement at Borgata Hotel, Casino, and Spa. It also confirmed that a valet discovered the weapon and called the cops. The officers started looking for the owner of the vehicle in which the valet found a gun.
Sonya Deville cooperated with the officers and admitted being the owner of the vehicle and the handgun. Deville then presented the police with the official permit. However, her Florida license was invalid in New Jersey. NJ’s police took Sonya Deville into custody. Deville was released with a future court date.
