After more than a year, Randy Orton is on his way back to WWE. As reported by WRKD Wrestling on Twitter, the Apex Predator is nearing his comeback. That being said, it could possibly happen as soon as this Saturday’s Money in the Bank premium live event. This is the best piece of news WWE fans could’ve wished for. A few months ago, there were a plethora of disturbing rumors concerning Orton’s forced retirement.
Also, Kurt Angle recently shared some encouraging news about The Viper while talking on The Kurt Angle Show. Speaking on the matter, the Olympic Gold medalist revealed that Orton has fully recovered from his back issues. Furthermore, Angle teased that Randy might very well return to WWE sooner rather than later. This perfectly aligns with WRKD’s latest report on the 14-time World Champion.
Boozer 666, a private WWE insider, tweeted out that Orton was always scheduled to return after WrestleMania 39. However, due to some complications, the return was pushed back. To sum up things, everything is pointing towards The Viper’s impending comeback to WWE. Fans are eagerly waiting for the St. Louis native, and that wait is seemingly coming to an end.
There’s nothing left for Randy Orton to prove in this business. He’s a bonafide legend with 14 World titles to his name. In a nutshell, he’s had a wrestling career many could only dream of. However, he’s far from being totally done as an in-ring competitor. He’s been pushing several young faces and helping them get over in the past few years.

Is Randy Orton coming back to side with Matt Riddle?
The RK-Bro, consisting of Randy Orton and Matt Riddle, was quite a highlight of WWE television until The Viper got injured. Their unusually hilarious pairing entertained fans on WWE television. They even captured the tag titles, defeating AJ Styles and Omos at SummerSlam 2021. However, since Randy got sidelined, his buddy has been on a solo run.
This Saturday at Money in the Bank, Riddle will challenge Gunther for the Intercontinental Title. This rivalry has taken over Monday Night Raw in the past few weeks. The Ring General is hellbent on teaching The Original Bro a lesson. So far, Riddle has not been able to fend off his opponent even once in this feud.
Also, it’s widely reported that Gunther is not dropping his title anytime soon. That means he’s going to retain the gold in London as well. There’s been a slight ray of hope that maybe this could be the exact match in which Randy Orton shows up. He can even the odds for his former partner against The Imperium.
