WWE’s biggest event of the year is just a month away. The company usually stacks its cards several months before its spectacular event. However, there have been various significant changes to the card in recent times. The reports suggest that former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon had a major creative input on one of the matches at WrestleMania 39.
WrestleMania 39 is just around the corner, but the situation backstage is very obscure. According to reports from WrestleVotes, the match between Brock Lesnar and Omos for WrestleMania originated in the mind of Vince McMahon. Wrestle Votes is a legitimate inside source that has broken several stories in the past. This time, it tweeted perhaps one of the most surreptitious news that left the fans dejected.
The tweet said, “I’m told the highly anticipated, very compelling (??) Brock Lesnar vs Omos WrestleMania matchup was the idea of one specific, powerful person who pushed it through.” As soon as the news broke, there was a great buzz in the wrestling community. However, Dave Meltzer also reported in the past that there had been several changes to the card. Meltzer said that WWE’s initial plan for Brock Lesnar was to lock horns with Gunther.
Fightful Select has also reported in the past that there have been many talents backstage who believe Vince McMahon has a major influence on the creative process. Moreover, it is noteworthy to mention that Triple H also indicated this once during an interview. Hunter said that he is always open to accepting creative input from the former WWE Chairman, Vince McMahon.
The recent tweet by WrestleVotes hinted that Mr. McMahon potentially has a major influence on the WWE Creative backstage. Therefore, the fans believe it’s not much time before Vince McMahon finally takes the driver’s seat from Triple H once again. They believe this is just a glimpse of that.

Fans’ reaction on Brock Lesnar vs Omos
As soon as WWE announced that match between Lesnar and Omos for the biggest night of the year, the fans were resentful. Brock Lesnar is one of the top stars in the company and has headlined multiple WrestleManias in the past. Therefore, the fans believe that The Beast Incarnate should be booked in a high-caliber match at The Showcase of the Immortals.
The fans have shown strong condemnation regarding the match with Omos. Despite being a 7-foot-tall giant, Omos has not wrestled much in recent times. Besides, the only big match of the Nigerian Giant came with Braun Strowman in Crown Jewel. As a result, the fans believe that he is not a superstar of Lesnar’s caliber. Moreover, the fans despised the in-ring skills of Omos.
The Beast Incarnate was a part of the main event of WrestleMania last year. Therefore, the WWE Universe believes he deserves a mega match at The Greatest Spectacle In Sports Entertainment this year as well.
