Dominik Mysterio continues to be one of the most popular superstars in WWE. Therefore, multiple superstars have an interest in feuding with Dirty Dom. However, it should come as no surprise that his father, Rey Mysterio, also wants to have another shot at beating his son. Following their WrestleMania 39 matchup, the WWE Hall of Famer wants a rematch with an interesting added stipulation.

While talking to Ariel Helwani on the MMA hour, the host asked the legendary luchador about a possible “hair vs. mask” match against Dominik Mysterio. To this, the 48-year-old replied, “Why not? I would love that. I don’t think we’ve ever seen that here. Imagine him bald. Don’t imagine me without the mask; you already know“. Therefore, it is very probable that Rey has an interest in facing his son once again before he decides to hang up his boots.

The stipulation can add a special element to the “father vs. son” feud, as a mask is extremely important for a luchador like Rey Mysterio. On the other hand, Dominik’s hair has become his identity since he joined The Judgment Day and turned heel on his father in 2022. This is a feud that could potentially be in the works for WrestleMania 40.

WrestleMania 40 is still months away. Therefore, WWE can still have the match in April 2024, depending on what the plans are for both superstars. Currently, Dominik is the NXT North American Champion and is also a part of Judgment Day. On the other hand, Rey Mysterio is currently the United States Champion and is part of LWO. Therefore, fans will have to wait and see if the father-son match becomes a reality with the interesting stipulation.

Rhea Ripley says Dominik Mysterio not allowed to leave her

The duo of Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley has been one of the smartest pairings WWE has had in recent memory. The two are on an incredible run since joining Judgment Day. Ripley and Dominik are almost inseparable and go everywhere together as a pair. Therefore, when asked, The Eradicator had a definite answer about how she felt about Dirty Dom.

While talking to Sporting News Australia, Ripley said, “I say to Dom all the time that he’s not allowed to leave me [laughs]. He’s not allowed to leave me because I need him, and I feel like he needs me too. Like you said, at the start, it seemed so weird. Putting our names next to each other, it just didn’t seem right, especially because we didn’t really know each other”

Rhea Ripley is on a rampage currently, as she has been the women’s champion since WrestleMania 39. On the latest episode of Raw, announcement came that Ripley would have to defend her title in a fatal five-way match at Crown Jewel. This will be an unprecedented challenge for the 27-year-old.
