Recently, the legendary luchador revealed the possible timeline of his retirement from his illustrious pro wrestling career.
In an interview with Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour, Rey Mysterio talked about his retirement from professional wrestling. The current United States Champion stated that he is planning to wrap up his career within the next two years. “I’m hoping that it can be within the next year and a half or two, maybe,” said the Master of 619.
Rey Mysterio has been wrestling since he was 14 years old. He has accomplished almost everything there is in WWE. Last year, he got into the prestigious WWE Hall of Fame. The Master of 619 has dedicated almost 30 years of his life to professional wrestling.
There’s no shadow of doubt that he has had an illustrious career in pro wrestling. His retirement from the business is going to be a huge hit for the entire industry, as he teased that it is on the horizon. Rey Mysterio returned to WWE in 2018. He has been an active superstar ever since.
