Rey Mysterio will battle Gunther this week on SmackDown

Following a mental torment from his son Dominik in recent weeks on Raw, a broken father in Rey Mysterio decided to call off on his legendary career. However, Triple H made a better offer towards him and cracked a special deal with him to trade Mysterio on SmackDown permanently.
At least this will keep him away from the heinous intentions of his son who has brutally attacked Rey numerous times recently. On his first night back on the blue brand, Rey earned an opportunity towards the prestigious Intercontinental Championship.
He will take on The Ring General Gunther in a first time ever clash this coming Friday on SmackDown. Mysterio himself is a 2-time Intercontinental Champion and knows exactly what it takes to own the gold. The match has been already taped by WWE and the result isn’t a secret to many anymore.
