“It’s for ALL OF US!” Rey Mysterio talks about getting inducted into the Hall of Fame
Rey Mysterio has made an enduring impression on the professional wrestling world and served as an inspiration to many future stars. Everyone was ecstatic when the news of his Hall of Fame induction surfaced this week.

Rey Mysterio has been announced as the first inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame, class of 2023, during the latest edition of SmackDown. The Hall of Fame ceremony will take place in Los Angeles in the month of March, just a day prior to WrestleMania 39.
“This award is not just for me, it’s for ALL OF US.” – @reymysterio to @WWEUniverse, this was posted by the Twitter handle of WWE India as the humble wrestler spoke about getting inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Rey has played a major role in attracting a new kind of fan base and the way World Wrestling Entertainment is today. He introduced his unique Mexican Lucha Libre style into the States and made it one of the most appreciated styles of wrestling.
Many wrestlers have congratulated Mysterio, along with the veteran wrestler now turned manager, Dutch Mantell. Mantell believes that Rey is a deserving inductee for this year’s Hall of Fame.
Mike Chioda, a former WWE referee, also took it to Twitter and congratulated Mysterio. Hulk Hogan, Drew McIntyre, and even JBL, who is a long-time on-screen rival of Rey Mysterio, congratulated him on his induction to the prestigious list.

Rey Mysterio vs. Dominik Mysterio almost confirmed for WrestleMania 39

The Master of 619 has repeatedly stopped himself from hitting his son, but he almost did so on SmackDown. He did so, as Dominik Mysterio disrespected Rey on the same night he was inducted into the Hall of Fame.
While Mysterio was talking about his induction into the Hall of Fame, Dominik interrupted him. He accused him of not being around when he was growing up. On this week’s episode of Raw, Dominik issued a challenge to his dad, Rey Mysterio, at WrestleMania.
Mysterio did ignore his son’s challenge, but it’s clear that WWE Universe is just an official announcement away from the father vs. son match at the Grandest Stage of Them.
After Dominik Mysterio joined the villainous stable of Judgment Day, he went from being just a second-generation talent to a major name on the main roster. It seems that their long rivalry will finally culminate at WrestleMania 39, as the father-son duo will face off against each other for the first time ever.
